Hello from Paris!

It's taking me a little while to get into a photo groove here. The things I liked to shoot in New York aren't exciting me... how odd is that? Guess I've moved on.

Found a great darkroom to rent and have been printing some Coney Island shots, specifically some messed up, scratched up, blobbed up dual and triple exposure Holga shots. God they're hot. Not Paris Hilton hot. More like a nuclear explosion hot.

Went fabric shopping today and found, completely by accident, an exhibit of Nek Chand sculptures. Funny ducks. Funny, funny ducks.

Got up at 5:30 AM and caught the train out to Versailles so I could be there at 7AM when the gardens opened. I had the place to myself. Four hours later when I popped out by the palace there were several thousand people milling around. Yikes. I went against the traffic and escaped back to Paris.

My best picture there was a lovely marble bum. I'll post once I scan, I promise! One more photo and I will complete my rear end trilogy. My other great bum picture is an elephant bum. All I got from the circus entering Manhattan was one elephant's bum. I tried to refocus but zzzzzzzooooomm they galloped past so fast. I tried to run alongside but an animal rights protestor bashed me in the knees with his placard, and well, that was it for another year.
