Rock On!
Ugh. Bit of a wash-out on the photo front this weekend, literally. On Saturday went up to the Rock of Cashel with the apug gang, but it rained, then got all drizzly, and then rained again. I tried some slow exposures (ghostly tourists wandering through was what i was going for) but even with 50 ASA I couldn't get a long enough exposure. I think I'll need some filters to slow 'em down even further.
Sunday was the steam rally - which was a blast. Took the lomo and haven't processed yet, so we'll see how those come out. Fingers crossed!
Yesterday was the reenactors event, supposedly the biggest annual event in Ireland. But as it rained hard on Sunday, the reenactors got wet, and most of them went home on Sunday night. Probably only about 30 reenactors stayed for Monday. Add to that, when I switched film (opened the camera to unload Saturday's film) I discovered I'd loaded it backwards! Good grief! Final insult, I saw the perfect guy to model for the red shoes project and I didn't work up the nerve to talk to him. If I'd been alone I probably would have, 'cos in those situations I usually have a little internal chat with myself and then just go for it. But I was with family, so I never really had to get out of my comfort zone.
Here's how I'm feeling today: all talk and no action.
