Haven't done a Friday Five in ages....

• What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have?
  Swim around Manhattan Island; visit Israel; camp overnight and see the sun rise over the Grand Canyon; make a key lime pie; ride a camel; dip my toes in the ocean in Tasmania..... Just one? I keep a list...


• When someone asks your opinion about a new haircut/outfit/etc, are you always honest?
  Hah. I'm painfully polite. I am absolutely unable to be honest, esp. if it is a "for their own good" situation. I'm even embarassed when I overhear other people comment on a stranger's outfit/hair/etc., like you sometimes overhear on the subway.


• Have you ever found out something about a friend and then wished you hadn't? What happened?
  Yes, and I deal by pretending to not know.


• If you could live in any fictional world (from a book/movie/game/etc.) which would it be and why?
  Avalon, as in Marion Zimmer Bradley's Mists of Avalon, where destiny, magic and fate rule.


• What's one talent/skill you don't have but always wanted?
  Diet my way into being skinny.

Sometimes I go to the darkroom and everything feels right. A zen of darkroom, if you like. Last night was one of those nights.
